The Progress of the Renovations at the Humpty Doo Property

The following pictures will give you an idea of what is happening at my home in Humpty Doo. I am in the process of adding a laundry/workshop downstairs and a verandah upstairs.

Below you can see four different views of the house, in its various stages of construction. To see some larger images of each column of photos, click on the txt at the top of the respective column. BEWARE: the sets of larger photos are approximately 500kb in size.

The laundry is finished and work on the French Doors onto the verandah is in progress!

The new verandah deck - 14m long and 4.5m wide!
And the new terracotta coloured stairs leading up to the verandah.

Some of the work that has been done so far:

The laundry/workshop and veranda are stage 1 of the renovations.

In stage 2, steel reinforcing will be included in the roof and the walls to get the house to comply with the cyclonic building code. The old external wall sheeting will also be replaced with steel.

And in stage 3, the kitchen, bathroom and internal walls will be replaced and fixed respectively.
